The four nesting pieces and base keep my son busy for ages, and he's started lining them up in order to show the chicken's life cycle. Took a couple days for him to figure out the sequencing, but now he redoes it over and over.

My daughter is obsessed with the little chick figures and stacks them on the circle base for almost an hour at a time. It's a simple toy, but watching her figure out the right order of the pieces has been really fun.
