My 2-year-old figured out the hammering within a day and now she goes back to it constantly, dropping each ball through the holes on her own. The wooden mallet feels solid in her little hand, and I like that the whole thing is sturdy enough to survive her enthusiastic swings.

The balls make a satisfying thunk when they drop, and my toddler loves the cause and effect. It’s helped his hand-eye coordination noticeably in just a week.

The clacking sound when the balls drop through the holes keeps my son entertained way longer than I expected. I like that it's just wood and paint, no batteries or plastic bits to worry about. Watching him line up each ball and swing the mallet has honestly been a joy.
