The little knife actually cuts through the velcro on the bell pepper and pumpkin, which my 3-year-old figured out right away. She's been naming the colors while she "cooks" and now points out broccoli at the grocery store. The garlic clove is a nice touch since it's a veggie most toy sets skip.
