The kiwi slices come apart with that velcro sound and my daughter keeps "peeling" the orange over and over. The wooden knife actually cuts through the fruit pieces, which surprised me for the price.

My toddler has spent an hour every day this week slicing the apple and orange with the little knife that actually fits her hand. The pieces stay together with velcro so she can reassemble them over and over, which is way more engaging than I expected. Best pretend-play purchase we've made in a while

The tactile details are the standout here—my daughter actually gasped when she sliced the velcro strawberry and heard the "pop." The kiwi and orange feel surprisingly realistic for play food, so she's been running her own little kitchen for the past week without losing interest.
