My 4-year-old figured out that blowing gently gives a soft, low whistle instead of a shrill blast, and now she carries it everywhere. It's tiny enough to tuck in her pocket, and honestly the sound is way less annoying than I expected from a whistle.

The water sounds are so realistic—my toddler loves making it squeak and then laughing at his own noise. The gentle blow is perfect for little lungs without being too loud.

My niece figured out the gentle blowing technique in about a minute and hasn't put it down since. The sound it makes is soft enough that I don't mind her tooting it in the car, which says a lot.
